Westwind Construction is growing and is seeking a Property Development Coordinator to join our team. Research potential new markets for the Property Development and Construction companies identifying key building needs, large employers, partner opportunities, etc.
Research zone ordinances and variances to insure properties proposed meet all of the clients requirements.
Identify and analyze potential community and political impacts of projects.
Review contracts and red line with proposed changes for our general counsel to approve.
Attend planning commission and zoning meetings and represent the company when necessary.
Research potential permanent funding sources for individual projects.
Coordinate meetings with both internal and external key stake holders for various projects and prepare presentation materials as necessary.
Develop and maintain relationships with property brokers.
Facilitate the negotiation process for property acquisitions.
Assist property owners with the due diligence process during acquisition.
Provides general administrative support to the Executive Leadership Team.
5 – 8 years experience in commercial real estate, property development and / or construction preferred.
5 years experience as a paralegal or attorney preferred.
Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Suite of products including Microsoft Excel.
